She was born on November 22, 1974 in Potosi, Missouri a daughter to Glenda Kay (Portell) Harmon and the late Ronnie Harmon. In addition to her father, Kathy was preceded in death by a sister Melissa Kay Harmon; grandparents Floyd and Myrtle Portell; Norvell and Hazel Harmon; great niece Alexis Boyet and great nephew Conor Boyet. Those who remain to mourn her passing are her mother Kay Harmon of Potosi; two brothers Troy and wife Karrie Harmon of Springtown; Scott Harmon of Potosi; sister in law Shelly Pasea of Springtown; nieces Amy and husband Kyle Dicus of Cadet; Anna Jones of Springtown; nephews David and wife Angel Boyet of Springtown; T.J.
